FRACTIONAL DIRECTION

Creative direction, design direction, and AI UX on a set number of hours each week, with a three month minimum. Direction, design principles, the standards your team builds to, and working prototypes. Written outcomes at 30, 60, and 90 days.

THE INTENSIVE

Three sessions for a founder. You leave with your full tech stack and ecosystem mapped, a tangible project plan, and my creative and design direction on visuals, imagery, and cohesiveness across every touchpoint. Application only. A limited number each year.

I can direct the whole system because I have worked in every medium that touches a brand: architecture, landscape and interiors, photography and video, drawing, UX, product, and brand. Then I built and run my own company end to end, from the brand to the stack to the media. That is the range direction takes.

I run my own company on an AI connected system, so you get senior judgment at the speed of a small team, without managing one.

PROOF

Led design of the terminal operating system for the largest private global terminal operator, first rolled out at the Panama Canal. Sole designer on the overhaul, and designed new features from scratch.

Sole designer on two Boeing products, roughly ten form factors in six months.

I have worked in architecture, in food and landscape systems, in tech, and now in a studio of my own. Each time a system showed me its limits, I moved through it and built the next one. I tend to work from zero. I knew by 2021 that UX and possibly tech as a whole were entering a decline, and I had already lived through the contraction of another industry, so I was not going to wait around. Since 2024 I have been building SavantCoCo, writing in public, and learning every category a company needs, one at a time. The system is the brand. Strategic clarity is a transmission; people sense coherence before they ever work with you.

I take a small number of fractional engagements each year, and right now I have three spots open for 2027. I also consider select in house design leadership roles in Seattle, the Eastside, and the Bay Area.
